On this guided tour, you will gain insight into how modern salmon farming is carried out. The industry has evolved significantly since its beginnings in the early 1970s, and today, Norwegian salmon is one of the country’s most important export products.
The experience begins at the Coastal Museum with a short introductory film, before you head out to the fish farm itself by RIB boat.
This tour is suitable for the whole family; however, please note that the minimum age is 5 years. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Life jackets will be provided.
We recommend dressing according to the weather, as it is often colder at sea than on land. The full experience lasts approximately one hour.
